One of the most important aspects of your total WHOLENESS is your physical health. If you are not physically healthy, you cannot expect your mind to function properly and when your mind and body are having issues, you certainly cannot expect your spirit to be operating at optimum capacity.
Physical health is the first step in getting yourself into balance. Start with some common sense things like eating more healthy foods, start introducing more whole foods into your diet and try to cut out as many processed foods as possible. Reasoning behind this is that processed foods have lost most of their vitality through processing. They really don't have much nutritional value left to offer. Your body is alive and runs off energy, if you are not giving it energy back, it will cannabalize its living cells in the search for living nutrients and in the end all you are eating in processed foods are calories with no nutritional content. Your body will try to keep you alive to whatever ends are necessary and if you give it what it needs, it will spend all the rest of its time repairing whatever has gone wrong in the past. However, it needs your help to do this. So feed it what it truly needs, now what your tastebuds tell you, or what your eyes mislead you into believing is good for you.

NEVER do it all at once though, it could potentially throw your system out of balance. Drinking water is always a positive :) It helps your body flush toxins out of your system and operate more efficiently. Excercising is also necessary because if you stop using things, they will tend to deteriorate because of lack of use. Think of coma patients and how they lose muscle mass so quickly because of lack of activity.
